1) Carry out 3D modelling, 2D drawings, assembly in Creo 3.0
2) Good knowledge of GD&T, knowledge of automotive systems.
3) Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes like sheet metal, casting, forging.
3) DMU management, integrating vehicle systems & project coordination with various teams.
4) Conceptualize & detailed design, bench marking of suspension, brake, steering systems, ladder frame to meet cost weight & functional targets
5) Tracking / maintaining detailed timing plans for the components / systems.
6) Reviewing existing bench marking data and obtaining new data as required.
7) Responsible for CAD sign-off, BOM creation/ management, requirement compliance.
8) Conduct/ participate regular design reviews and escalate issues requiring help to management.
9) Recording & maintaining Design Quality, standards & Targets.
10) Verification of the detail designs for prototype building.
11) Utilizes technical skills and design experience to plan, organize, lead.
12) Co-ordinate design activities.
13) Ensure quality of the CAD design, drawings & speed of delivery.
14) Workout modularisation & standardization proposals.
15) Technical documentation & design change analysis.
16) Conceptualise & detailed design of brake, steering and suspension systems, frame meeting cost weight & functional targets.
