Design Engineer - Electrical & Controls - Automation (4-6 yrs)
- This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru for an Electrical and Controls Design Engineer. The Electrical and Controls Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and designing electrical systems for automation machines and can interpret and create electrical drawings and schematics. The Electrical and Controls Design Engineer will also be responsible for developing, testing, and troubleshooting electronic and electrical devices and systems, and will supervise equipment installation and testing, creating electrical designs and solutions for machine products based on customer specifications and creating safety procedures, and perform analysis and optimization of electrical systems.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 4 years experience in Electrical and Controls Design Department in an Automation industry.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD and EPLAN, and experienced in selection and sizing of control components like PLC, SCADA systems, VFD, HMIs, Motion controllers etc.
4. Basic programming knowledge in C/C++, Structured Text or any other high-level programming language
5. Ability to integrate various components is a must, including Servo drives, motion controllers, HMI, sensors, vision systems, and 3rd party conveyor systems.
6. Good communication and teamwork skills are a must as this job requires close collaboration with other teams like software, controls & instrumentation, and mechanical team
