Design Engineer - Electrical Harness & Schematics - CAD (4-10 yrs)
Eligibility Criteria :
- Education qualification : BE in Electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics engineering
- Years of Experience: 3 to 8 Yrs of relevant experience
Primary Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver results while working on multiple Projects/Tasks simultaneously, balancing time and quality effectively
- Selection of OEM components and materials for Cable design
- Interact with PG counterpart in the US
- Participate in design review to get awareness on the standards and product
- Shows attention to detail and exhibits high-quality standards in engineering documentation
- Be able to highlight high complexity technical risks and drive mitigation plans during project/task execution
- Maintain and develop process checkpoints to ensure adherence to design standards and schedules.
- Collaborate with auxiliary functional teams, to ensure project execution for a product delivering to customer requirements
- Driving continuous improvement of system, Product, and Processes.
- Create/Update Wiring diagram, Cable diagram, Interconnect and Schematic
- Create/Update Spec Sheet, Procedure and Template
Mandatory Skills required for performing the job :
- Detailed understanding of relevant design standards and compliance like UL 508, IEC standard, SEMI Standard (Electrical), etc.
- Must have worked on electrical engineering CAD tools like E3 Zuken, Ideas or PCAD
- Knowledge on Wiring harness, Cable Routing and Formboard (E3 Flattening)
- Experience in creating an electrical drawing, Schematics and Interconnect using E3 Zuken, Ideas and PCAD
- Knowledge of design for manufacturability in cable design
Desirable Skills :
- Experience in industrial automation control panel design
- Understanding of component selection like Cable, Connector, Lugs, CBS
- Experience in working with cross-disciplinary teams
- Knowledge in Engineering change management process
- Has good communication skills (written & verbal)
- Knowledge of MS office software's like MS Excel, MS Word & MS PowerPoint
- Experience with Team Center and PLM (SAP or e-Works or Oracle-apps etc.)
