Design Engineer - Electrical - Renewable Energy (5-10 yrs)
BE|BTech|Diploma in EEE having 5+ years exp as a Designer with strong background in Reneweable Energy .
Role & responsibilities :
1. Worked on technical & economical aspects of renewable energy site includes Wind/Solar Plant Designing electrical systems and components for various projects.
2. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
3. Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed design
4. Creating technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
5. Testing and troubleshooting electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
6. Performing electrical calculations, simulations, and modelling using specialized software tools to analyse system performance, voltage drop, short-circuit analysis, protection coordination, and arc flash hazard analysis.
7. Designing and developing high quality model using 2D & 3D AutoCAD. Plant 3D, Leica Cloudworx for AutoCAD, Navisworks, professional experience in Wind/Solar Plant estimation/Budgeting and Controlling preferred.
- General understanding of IS/IES code & Industry practice. Should have in-depth knowledge on BOQ .
- Good knowledge on tendering, documentation, scoping, planning designing, costing.
- Detailed orientation with deep understanding of Electrical Mechanical Civil design system for Solar PV & wind projects.
- Prepration of BOQ cost estimation for ground mounted Solar/Wind power Plant.
