Design Engineer - Electronic Products (5-10 yrs)
Post : Design Engineer
- This position reports to the Head - PD and is responsible for creating the initial drawings for various projects, including creation of or modification to components and systems. Leads the team to support operations related to, quality, delivery, price and service.
Basic Requirements :
1. Educational Qualification : Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or BE in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
2. Professional Experience : Minimum Five To Maximum Ten years.
3. Basic Location: Bhiwandi, Thane.
4. Working knowledge of 2D/3D Software.
5. Knowledge of QMS activities.
Responsibility :
1. Must have reasonable experience with making of 2D drawings and technical data sheets.
2. Must know making 3D drawings/files through software like Solid-works/Pro-E/Cloudworx etc.
3. Knowledge, understanding or willingness to quickly learn design and simulation software like ANSYS will be considered for additional preference.
4. Responsible for developing and maintaining the system of coding/numbering/storing the drawings/data-sheets each customers wise.
5. Preparing the drawings/data-sheets with thorough bench-marking with factory drawing/data-sheets & competition data-sheets/drawings.
6. Proactively involved to communicate with internal team members, factory team or customer team to clear any doubts if any.
7. Drawings/Data-sheets to be prepared will be of NISIKI - Electronic products like Cooling fan / Surge protection device and also Mechanical products like Bearings.
Knowledge and Skills :
- In depth knowledge of physics, engineering and mathematics to ensure that designs are feasible.
- Thorough understanding of the products or field for which designs are being created and the requirements of their intended users.
- Advanced computer skills to work with designing software.
- Team work skills are essential in order to coordinate efforts with various people, usually within a given deadline.
