Design Engineer - Fire Fighting & Protection (4-6 yrs)
Job description:
- Preparation and review of Fire protection, detection, and alarm system design basis, equipment specification
- Review of fire water demand calculation, hydraulic calculations
- Review and knowledge of spray systems for transformers, and cable basements as per NHPA-15, review of spray system piping and equipment layouts
- Review of sprinkler system for different areas as per NFPA-13, review of sprinkler system piping layout
- Review of internal hose system and external hydrant system calculations and piping, equipment layouts as per NFPA-14 and NFPA-24
- Review of calculation and ns, piping, equipment gas-based or gas-based fire protection system lik,e CO2, FM200 etc
- Review of fire water pumps and room layout
- Review of fire safety layouts
- Review of Fire extinguisher selection and applicable as per NFPA-10
- Experience in sub-station or power plant is must
- Experience of middle east will have advantage
Job Specification:
- Any Graduate
- 5+ years- experience in a Fire
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and presentation skills
