Design Engineer - Fixture Design (4-5 yrs)
JD :
- Design and optimization of mechanical components for filtration products.
- Develops manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable standards.
- Purchase parts component and standard parts selection as per standards.
- Confer with process/manufacturing engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolves system malfunctions and provide technical information.
- Preparation of Fixtures and Jig Concepts, 3D Modeling, 2D Drafting and drawings
- Direct communication with customers.
- Ongoing design reviews/designers working on projects.
- Good knowledge in GD & T.
- Good knowledge in BIW Fixture Design both (3D, 2D).
- Study of Design data and Preparation of reports for further modification.
- Study of process Cloud data of BIW car Products.
- Process Study from design (Spot,Sealer,Stud,etc.)
- Preferred in BIW Fixture design as per European standards.
- Modification in Existing tooling designs.
- BIW manufacturing Process Study
- Gun accessibility study for Manual & Robotic fixtures
- Creating and releasing of manufacturing drawings
- BOM Creation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in 3D CAD modeling and 2D Detailing.
- Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
- Good in CATIA-CAD modelling & Autocad tools.
- Experience : 4 to 5 years in BIW Fixture design
