Design Engineer - Furniture (3-5 yrs)
We need someone with specific knowledge of Sketchup in furniture, and with the ability to make renderings not only from Sketchup (V-ray), but also with any other software.
Job Profile
Position: Design Engineer.
Educational Qualification: Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Minimum 3- 5 years of experience in Wood and Metal Furniture Designing. He should have very good experience in rendering.
Designing Software experience: AutoCAD and Sketchup
Language known. Very fluent in written and spoken English.
Key Responsibility.
- Designing layouts and products in the retail segment. Layout planning of large-format shopping mall stores. Segment - pharmacy stores and other retail, fashion, and hospitality stores.
- Regular coordination with the customer and the parent company located in Italy.
- Achievement of the company's sales goals and profit targets
- In case required, visit customers or the parent company. Customers are located in the Middle East.
- Focus on the development of furniture products, innovation, product re-engineering etc, under the guidance of the parent company.
- Team Player
Skills
- Autocad, Sketchup (will have additional weightage).
- Designing of Modular Furniture and Shop fittings for retail stores, QSR, supermarkets, and pharmacy stores.
- Costing skill will get ha higher preference.
- Interpersonal and negotiation skills is essential.
- He needs to have good communication skills with convincing power to get the best deal. Very fluent in written and spoken English
