Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 03+ years- experience in relevant field.

Expected Job Role:

- Engineering Design of Switchboards, Power Distribution Boards, Electrical Starters & Controls and Power Management System.

- Preparation of System Design Drawings (Selection of Components, Preparation of BOMs, Power Scheme / Control Scheme, GA, Internal Layouts, Wiring Diagrams, Fabrication Drawings) and submission to customer for approval.

- Calculation of Copper Bus bar, Heat Loads, Power dissipation, fault ratings.

- Preparation of Quality Assurance Plans, Internal Test Procedures, Acceptance Test Procedures, Type Test Plans as per order specifications and getting customer approvals

- Release of finalised design documents for Manufacturing / production.

- Co-ordination with Production/ Purchase to resolve technical issues related to assigned project.

- Ensuring compliance with relevant defence standards as per order specifications

- Customer interaction and onsite visits for feasibility studies, technical discussions.

- Technical support to Sales for technical offer and cost estimates on need basis

- Interaction with internal departments for co-ordination of various activities for assigned project

Technical Competency:

- Hands-on experience in System Level Design of Electrical and Power systems

- Experience in Design of LV Main Supply Switchboards, Power Distribution Boards, DG Synchronisation.

- Good knowledge of Electrical Switchgear like ACBs, MCCBs, other switchgear, protection relays, Different Starters and Electrical schemes.

- Knowledge of PLCs, Controllers, Electrical switchgear including ACBs / MCCBs, other switchgear, Electromechanical components, starters and VFDs, etc, is mandatory.

- Experience on preparation of System Design Drawings (Selection of Components, Preparation of BOMs, Power Scheme / Control Scheme, GA, Internal Layouts, Wiring Diagrams, Fabrication Drawings) and submission to Customer for approval.

- Calculation of Copper Bus bar, Heat Loads, Power dissipation, fault ratings.

- Experience on preparation of Quality Assurance Plans, Internal Test Procedures, Acceptance Test Procedures, Type Test Plans as per order specifications and getting customer approvals

- Good knowledge on Electrical testing requirement like Functional Testing, Temperature rise, Electrical Safety Testing (HV/IR, Earth Bonding, Insulation Monitoring, etc).

- Knowledge of Product compliance testing as per Industrial standards or MIL Standards for Environmental conditions and EMI/EMC.

- Understanding Customer requirements / RFP specifications and offering solutions with the available technology

- Familiarity with Drafting Tools like AutoCad, Solidworks and Electrical Design tools.

- Excellent analytical & inter-personal skills with proven ability in driving the project

- Hands-on experience in Defence domain will be an advantage
