Role : Design Engineer - Mechanical

Work is varied and will typically include :

- Piping, equipment design and process/hydraulic calculation (Water Piping Network, Sewage Network, Strom Network etc.)

- Design and development of process systems (WTP, STP, ETP, SPS)

- Thermal and hydraulic design and analysis

- Maintenance and life-extension of current generation plants

Job Detail :

Responsibilities :

- Understanding the contract and scope of project deliverables, data processing and analysis of water supply network, network modeling.

- Calculation of demand/flow for water supply networks for pumping main and distribution main.

- Economic pipe size calculation.

- Hydraulic design calculations for pumping network and distribution network using Water GEMS, EPANET, Branch, and MS Excel.

- Design calculations Pump NPSH and TDH, flow meter sizing.

- Design calculations of electrical load list for pump house, ESR, GSR.

- Design calculations for rain water harvesting tank, Thrust block calculation.

- Preparation of layout plans, piping layout, process flow diagram, piping and instrumentation diagram for Clear water reservoir, pump house, Chlorination building, Flow and pressure monitoring station, ESR, GSR, MBR, GLR, VTC and PSP.

- Preparation of bill of quantities for Clear water reservoir, pump house, Chlorination building, Flow and pressure monitoring station, ESR, GSR, MBR, GLR, VTC and PSP.

- Supervise, coordinate and support to Draftsmen and CAD Technicians and conduct required checks and reviews of own team design.

- Coordination with inter office department for all the design issues concern to completion of project.

Requirements :

- Suitable degree in Mechanical or relevant engineering with 7 to 10 years of experience.

- Experience in Water, Waste Water, Thermal Power, STP, WTP or other highly regulated industrial environment.

- Conversant with tools Water & Sewer GEMS, EPANET, Branch, and MS Excel.

- Proven strong strategic, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills

- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
