Design Engineer - Power Electronics (3-10 yrs)
Role responsibilities :
- Topology and Design selection, specification, and validation of critical power components (e.g. IGBTs, MOSFET- s, Diodes, capacitors, inductor etc.)
- Analyze failures seen on the product and find root cause and implement improvements. The failures can come from market or production.
- Design blocks and component selection for digital electronics for integration in the system.
- Perform Stress analysis, Reliability, Product life, FMEA, Design validation test of the design.
- Collaborate with mechanical, layout, firmware engineers and sourcing and manufacturing team to successfully develop and validate the designs and support for product launch.
Skills :
- Strong theoretical understanding of Inverters, DCDC converters. Optimization studies of different converter topologies with respect to losses, device sizing and selection
- Expert in identifying the issues in short amount of time and implement the solution.
- Good in coordination with Cross functional team and getting work done.
Role essentials :
- Ownership : Lead complete design activity from designing till production launch. Insuring all the detailing is done. Able to perform all kind of tasks required for project. Define and implement Design process if required.
- Innovation : Able to identify latest technologies and propose solutions for existing and upcoming design.
