Design Engineer - Sheet Metal Fabrication (4-6 yrs)
Job description :
Role & responsibilities :
- Design and Development of Sheet Metal Fabrication Parts
- Designing and Development of of Special Purpose Machines
- Bills of Material Calculation
- Projection of Material to be consumed in the project
- Must be able to calculate Tolerances
- Must be able to explain the concept of design to production team
- Must be able to participate in quality of production work with reference to the design built
- Must be able to conceptualise Kaizen & Improvement points while drawing
- Must be able to source relevant vendors along with Purchase team for Innovative designs
- Must be able to tackle team/Should be a team player and Should take responsibilities for project completion on timely manner
- Must be able to coordinate effective communication between Manufacturing team with due diligence to design
- Must be able to sort out mechanical hiccups during manufacturing along with the team
- Conceptual design & detailed design calculation.
- Independent handling of project
- New design and development.
- Optimize of existing design.
- Fundamental knowledge of Pneumatics, Pumps, Blower, Piping would be an added advantage
Preferred candidate profile :
- Must have strong knowledge of Solidworks and Autocad
- Minimum 4 Years Experience in Solid Works
- Must have relevant field experience of 4 Years minimum
- Must have good and hands on knowledge of Sheet metal fabrication (Welding/Piping/Plumbing)
- Candidate with own vehicle/conveyance would be preferred
