Design Engineer - SPM/Robotics - Industrial Product (1-6 yrs)
We are recruiting 6 (Six) Design Engineers for our client who are a rapidly growing startup offering SPM, Robotics, Fixture and machine tools solutions. The company is based at Bangalore.
Role :
- Work on Designing of Machine Tools, SPMs, Robotics Turn solutions and Smart Manufacturing solutions
- Prepare & Conduct Design Approval Process with clients, keenly addressing client needs in terms of features and functions.
- Execute in depth engineering & analyses of design of child parts, sub-assemblies and structures, followed by simulation & analyses of complete machine
- Carry out selection, analyses & life cycle evaluation of actuators such as motors, ball-screws, guidance systems, hydraulic/pneumatic elements, pumps
- Think out of the box, and come up with innovative & creative ideas, continuously and consistently
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Good understanding of machine building
- Application of DFM, DFA, DFX & FMEA
- Geometric dimensioning & tolerancing
- Calculations such as metal cutting, forces, torque, energy, power, deflection, stress-strain, vibrations, thermal effects
- Working principle & selection of actuators used in machine tools, i.e., electromechanical elements, drive elements, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
- Mechanical properties & behavior of materials, heat treatment and surface coating
