Design Engineer - Vehicle (4-6 yrs)
Primary Skill : Product Engineering-Mechanical Design
Secondary Skill : Product Engineering-Chassis/Structure
Position Specific duties :
1. Understanding vehicle functional needs and supporting to design sub-systems, components.
2. Support critical NCCA and CAR which is assigned to ETEC. Collaboratively work with Manufacturing, Quality & supply management to resolve the NCCA and deliver designs to production.
3. Following the process for releasing the change management in the system
4. Participate on cross-functional project teams to perform design tasks, support builds.
5. Perform engineering design calculations, preliminary analysis to substantiate initial design proposals.
Required skill : B.E/M.E (Mechanical Engineering) with 4 to 6 years of experience in structural design.
1. 4-6 years of experience in MCAD system (e.g Creo Modeling, Drawing, Large Assembly Management, Casting and Sheet-metal modules)
2. Strong understanding of engineering basics (Strength of Materials, Engineering Mechanics, Bolted Joint Design, etc)
3. Good knowledge on GD&T
4. Ability to generate design concepts and select concepts based on data
5. Knowledge on CI process
6. Basic Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes - Sheet Metal, Casting, Welding, etc.
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills to manage working effectively.
Desired Experience : Tractor Product Knowledge, Agricultural equipment's knowledge
