Position - Design Manager

Education - BE Mechanical

Experience - 12 to 15 years

Job Objective :

This role is primarily responsible for Designing, detailing and planning of works for Pre sales and post sales stages of pharmaceuticals turnkey projects.

Principal Accountabilities : 

1. Participate in design meetings and provide continual input to optimize design and minimize futile work.

2. Assist in developing Design Delivery Schedule along with client, Project Manager, Design team and consultants.

3. Develop comprehensive scope-of-work and contract document deliverables list for each related discipline.

4. Negotiate scope-of-work, deliverables and price with consulting firms.

5. Assist Project Manager in incorporating all internal and external design and cost issues.

6. Manage distribution and production of project design workload within team.

7. Collaborate on new design issues and research projects with team.

8. Manage and maintain record keeping of original artwork files and all projects.

9. Project prioritization of design, assignment and management to designers.

10. Lead with effective supervision an experienced design team toward greater creativity.

11. Evaluate and motivate designers toward continued growth and leading design solutions.

12. Participate in departmental strategic planning.

13. Assist technically internal and external customers.
