Design Manager - MEP (7-15 yrs)
Position : Manager(MEP) - Projects
Education : Post Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialisation in fluid and thermal sciences/Thermal Engineering/Thermal and Fluids engineering
Location : Gurgaon
Reports to : FH- Projects, India ops
Responsibilities :
MEP Manger will be a key member of a highly driven Centre of Excellence (CoE) for India Operations under the Ascendas-Singbridge Group. Key responsibilities include :
- Coordination with City MEP teams for design and execution requirement.
- Identify and groom core group of consultants across India Operations.
- Work closely with HQ to localize and roll out Standards and Best Practices for India Operations, pertaining to areas involving Planning, Design& execution.
- Monitor and audit ongoing projects for quality of development and installations.
- Review of DBR & system schematic drawings,tender and construction documents
- Assess design and provide inputs during the design& execution stages.
- Material inspection to ensure high quality standards for execution. These include approval of mock-ups and materials and regular site inspections.
- Explore and initiate implementation of new/innovative technologies for MEP services.
- Coordinate with HQ for audits of design/execution related products.
- Assist HQ to catalyze product innovation through in depth research on market trends and new technologies with regards to planning and design.
- Understanding of various latest MEP trends in construction industry.
- Knowledge of statutory requirements and liaison capacity with authorities.
Competencies Required :
- Post Graduate degree/diploma in HVAC and refrigeration (Mechanical Engineering)from a recognized university.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in planning/design &minimum 2 years experience in execution.
- Expertise in MEP aspects of project development including design, planning, installation etc.
- Working knowledge of computer tools like MS Project, AutoCAD etc.
- Good communication and presentation skills
