- Project Management for EDS development for Electric Vehicles

- To provide required engineering support onsite with predefined tasks to the Project Leader

- Ensure meeting EDS deliverables in line with project milestones

- SPOC for Receipt of Critical Project inputs from VIG, VATS, PAT, PL etc., and informs Sub-Module Lead for any updated version.

- Track all inputs viz., Feature List, PMXU List, NPI Project Plan,

- Volumes, Cost and Weight Targets, PAT Requirements, Accessory requirements, Servicing requirements, Manufacturing requirements, Communication requirements, CFT, VC Details, Benchmark Details."

- Project Risk /opportunity and mitigation plan.

- Follow up for Design inputs CAD data from other agencies.

- Budget and resource planning and requirements

- Project Efforts Estimation.

- Approval from Stakeholders outside E&E department.

- WH Engineering Outsourcing RFQ Preparation, distribution.

- Study Engineering Supplier responses, Efforts Understanding, Supplier queries resolution.

- Review of EDS Tracker and EDS NPI Time plan.

- Project Review meetings at CE, PL and CFT level.

- Technical Review sign-off with wiring harness suppliers- TRSO.

- Design Validation plan (DVP)/ CTR- Wiring harness sign-off with supplier & IDT.-

- Vehicle Build (Alpha, BETA, PO, PP, SOP) Internal Stake-holder Coordination.

- Routing Packaging Sign-off Activity Co-ordination for wiring harnesses.

- VLO Issue Closure with CFT.

- MINT3, BITS, VLO, CIB, QIB Issue Closure in Mint 3 Champion.

- Engineering Sign-off with CFT.

- DCR CAB Approval.

- DWM with VIG, PL, VATS, other external agency.

- WH mounting bracket, channel, child part, terminal Tooling cost approval.

- Critical issue escalation in respective external meetings

Preferred Skills & Knowledge

- Working knowledge of the overall automotive system, functional aspects, design, interfacing, application, testing and integration. Earlier, exposure on EDS development of Electric vehicles will be an added advantage.

- Knowledge of EDS - V- cycle development from concept to production from an OEM perspective.

- Knowledge of requirement and configuration management tools like DOORS.

- Familiarity of simulation tools - like VESYS, CAPITAL LOGIC.

- Awareness of Lab Car set ups for EDS tests.

- Should know the regulatory / certification requirements like CMVR, AIS, ECE etc.

- Should be able to evaluate supplier proposals and provide technical recommendation.

- Knowledge of EDS system design and development as per vehicle features.

- Knowledge of CAPITAL INTERACTIVE FLOW of EDS development.

- Working knowledge of MINT3, RMDVV and other internal systems.

- Excellent communication skills. Ability to work with cross functional team to achieve the required- functional / cost / weight /timing & quality.
