Design Support Engineer - EV Body Domain (4-6 yrs)
Job Description :
- New development of BCM, PEPS- and- Body domain components ( Wireless power charger, RLS, Window winding module, Door Handle switch, Antenna, Start stop switch) packaging to support the project- for the Body domain .
- CAD Packaging and simulation.
- Involve work from the kick-off of any program until SOP. Support in various VAVE activities
- CAD activity includes feasibility checking, Benchmarking, Simulation, Component mounting, Calibration, interaction with counter parts within E&E and outside E&E departments, interaction with supplier.
- Involve in measurement on vehicle and checking fitment of tooled up parts on the vehicle.
- Preliminary Feature list analysis
- High Level Benchmarking and review technology trend
- Prepare preliminary Bill Of Material
- Receive and Review of aggregate / system, component level targets
- Vehicle level Proto Part installation review and sign-off with supplier.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge :
- Expert in CATIA V5: Part Design, Generative Shape Design, Product Assembly and Drafting
- Team Center PLM
- Knowledge about Team Center JT Visualization
- Awareness about TML New Product Introduction process
- Knowledge about E&E Part Design
- Knowledge of Sheet metal and Plastic Part design
- Microsoft Office Tools: PowerPoint, Word and Excel
