The selected consultant will be required to support for :

- Define vehicle level Infotainment system requirements into component-level specifications considering the available library parts and identification of new parts if any

- Publish competition benchmarking report and draw inferences to align the technical proposal

- Prepare RFQ, Scope of Work documentation and participate in discussion with supplier for completion of technical review and agreement

- Participate in VAVE/cost reduction programs and drive/release the ideas in the infotainment domain

- Create project time plan in line with TML Gen3 Product development process

- Conduct packaging study along with mechanical experts to access the mechanical integration

- Conduct bench testing, Vehicle testing, HIL, Labcar testing.

- Report issues to supplier and maintain a log

- Prepare DFMEA and review with the cross-functional team

- Provide support on all phases of delivery like PO, PP, SOP, and field failures.

- Complete technical documentation and product-related documents

Preferred Skill and Knowledge

- Knowledge of wiring harness, connectors, electronics components, circuit design, debugging, etc

- Hands-on experience in the development and integration of Infotainment systems and their child modules in-vehicle environment

- Solution architecting- skills, exception analysis, inter ECU interaction design

- Software failure mode analytical skills

- Software Systems Engineering, basic knowledge of UML in system interaction modeling

- Well versed with CAN tools, simulation, debugging, and its Design requirements

- Well conversant with measurements instruments, tools, and related software

- Knowledge of product reliability standards and reference standards like IEC, EMI/EMC

- Multiple project handling and time management

- Knowledge of international process standards like EMS, ISO, TS 16949

- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Basic knowledge of Automotive ECU and Software development process

- Knowledge of basics of Acoustics- speakers, car amplifiers

- Knowledge of electronic software parts like microcontrollers, digital signal processing will be added advantage

- Knowledge of Android apps, connected car technologies will be added advantage
