Desk Engineer - Control Room Operations (5-10 yrs)
Job Summary :
- To Manage overall operations activities of the Desk Engineer with safety as the top priority.
- Should have sound knowledge of start up / shut down & emergency handling of Boiler & Boiler auxiliaries, Turbine& turbine auxiliaries, generator & its auxiliaries .
- Should have basic knowledge of efficient operational parameters, powerplant chemistry, CHP, AHP, & fire protection and detection system. Knowledge of electricity regulations, Legal compliance and Best practices across the industry.
Qualifications
Graduate Engineer; BE Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics
Experience:
min 5 Yrs of Experience in Power Plant operation
Roles & Responsibilities :
1. O&M Activities Responsible for overall Operations of the Plant, to ensure safe, effective and efficient operation
- Coordination With maintenance deptt for attending defects, issuing PTW Adherence to PTW system & SOPs
- Maintaining Operating parameters as per rated / design value for Optimizing, Heat Rate, APC,SCC
- Ensure availability of Emergency drive, their trail, Schedule Changeover / checking of equipment's etc.
2. Documentation and Reporting Timely Raising Defect Notification, O&M reports in SAP system and offline,
- Knowledge and understanding of SOP
- Ensure regular and adequate entries in Desk Engineer LOG Books & Local LOG books
- Should ensure Protection &Interlocks are in service, any deviation must be recorded and approval taken from competent authority
