Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Detailing Engineer with 6- 7 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating concept models into detailed manufacturing-ready drawings using UG NX, ensuring precision, manufacturability, and compliance with GD&T standards. This role also involves BOM generation, PLM processes, and close coordination with design and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create detailed 2D manufacturing drawings from concept models using UG NX, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

- Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure fit, form, and function compliance.

- Conduct manufacturability studies to optimize designs for production processes.

- Review and refine 3D models and assemblies for detailing completeness and manufacturability.

- Generate and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) with accuracy and alignment to design intent.

- Perform drawing release and Item ID creation in PLM systems, ensuring proper configuration and version control.

- Collaborate with design engineers to understand product functionality and integrate necessary details into drawings.

- Ensure compliance with company standards, engineering best practices, and manufacturing requirements.

- Provide support to manufacturing teams during prototype and production builds.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

- 6- 7 years of relevant experience in mechanical detailing and drafting.

- Proficient in UG NX for both 3D modeling and 2D detailing.

- In-depth knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.

- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and DFM principles.

- Hands-on experience with PLM systems for drawing release and BOM management.

- Attention to detail, precision, and quality in technical documentation.

- Ability to interpret complex assemblies and translate them into clear manufacturing documents.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
