Development Engineer - Electrical & Electronics (5-10 yrs)
E&E - Development Engineer
Knowledge Level :
1. A minimum of a Diploma in Electrical & Electronics or relevant study with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
2. Knowledge about the vehicle/machine harness and different connections.
3. Knowledge about the CAN system - Working/Logging Data / Manipulations. (Mandatory)
4. Knowledge about SAE J1939 CAN Standard.
5. Knowledge about EMC/EMI requirements & testing.
6. Knowledge about off-road machinery electrical/software system would be an additional advantage.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring compliance to all the design and test parameters to electrical sign off which includes the Group requirements, Machine requirements, Live Link Requirements, Service Master requirements etc.
2. Create & execute electrical/software V&V in liaison with the electrical / software design engineer.
3. Software / electrical issues logging in PIR system and closure of the issue with a detailed root cause analysis.
4. DTC Testing & reports.
5. Carryout fit for purpose signoff for the electrical components.
6. Develop test rig for validating the electrical harness / software upfront to machine development in order to find out / resolve issues so that the machine is fitted with a correct harness.
7. Manage the requirements for instrumentation for electrical/software testing.
8. Create and release T&D reports for the work carried out.
9. Work closely with other machine development engineers and be a good team player.
