Job Purpose :
The Development Quality Manager acts as gateway for release of new products.
The job holder needs to ensure that :
- The products meet all safety and performance standards.
- The products meet specifications given by marketing and performs as perstated and unstated customer expectations.
Duties and responsibilities :
- Understand Customer requirements
- Study relevant BIS/IEC standards
- Study product design and identify Quality critical parts/features
- Formulate test plan based on above items
- Evaluate product designs through rigorous testing and theoretical design evaluation
- Act as Quality gate for design release
- 6-10 Years in the areas of product design and/or product quality in a company dealing with Power electronics products
