This role is expected to deliver leadership and guidance to the engineering and design team.

Position : DGM Engineering

Qualification: Bachelor degree from Premier Institute in Mechanical Engineering/Automotive discipline.

(Advance degree ( M.Tech/M.E/MBA preferred).

Experience: 11-16 yrs of relevant experience.

Location: Gurgaon

Job Profile:

1. Lead and guide the creation of Engineering Designs from Industrial Designs.

2. Guide & lead the Product Engineering teams through the Product development gates of the company. Drive the implementation of Product Engineering tools & techniques like DFMEA, DfA, DfE, etc.

3. Guide and lead CFTs through Product Development gates of the company.

4. Determine functional procedures and policies and leads / participate in projects of strategic nature.

5. Establish, track, and report on Cost,Quality and Delivery matrices of Product Engineering and ensure optimal use of resources.

6. Apply knowledge of Business and competition to product development goals and product ideas.

7. Lead and guide the development of Migration SKUs at Plant or at Suppliers.

8. Lead and participate in manufacturing reviews, tooling reviews, tool development, Product Validation and PPAPs.

9. Lead and participate in Supplier audits and Quality Systems.

10. Leads the development of technical innovations for significant business impact .

11. Create a pipeline of Product Innovations.

12. Benchmarks competition Products for innovation edge.

13. Hire,train and keep engaged a diverse team.

14. Play an active role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of the team.

15. Plan and drive Training & Development of Engineers in functional and managerial skills.

16. Establish individual performance expectations and regularly review individual performance and recommend appropriate rewards and recognition.Track & guide Performance through Performance Management System.
