DGM/GM - Supply Chain Management (from Hospitals and Medical equipment companies only)

Responsible for the procurement and distribution of Medical equipment for India. Develop Supply Chain strategy, policies and procedures

Accountable for, realization of expected savings and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Confer with supply chain partners to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of required product.

- Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.

- Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors such as product cost and quality.

- Negotiate with the vendors for best product/service specification and service and close the vendor negotiations for best price and product specification.

- Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer experience.

- Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, operations, finance, purchase, and quality.

- Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback, or to discuss production forecasts or changes.

- Implement new or improved supply chain processes.

- Design and implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.

- Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control.

- Integrate supply chain operations with the overall business operating strategy.
