Experience - 10 -20 Years

Technically qualified - BE (Mech) Experience in Engineering Industries or Relevant Experience.

Industry Experience: Should have experience in Industrial Sheet Metal Fabrication Products experience.

Job Description :

- Responsible for fitting and welding of Sheet Metal, GI and SS parts using a MIG, Arc and TIG process.

- Also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by his or her supervisor.

Overseeing the production process.

Major Responsibilities :

- Maintain quality, health and safety within the production cell.

- Experience with Sheet Metal Fabrication projects.

- Responsible for fabrication of Sheet metal strong- s, Shell Structural's in MS, GI,SS with MIG, Arc, TIG welding process.

- Experience with MIG, Arc and TIG welding highly preferred.

- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs and uses.

- Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form.

- Ensuring the production is cost effective

- Liaising amount the different departments.

- Ability to identify and measure material.

- Ability to produce quality products consistently.

- Review practices and develop ideas to reduce manufacturing lead time and costs.

- Participate in and attend cross functional meeting as required.

- Propose potential quality or productivity enhancements i.e. continual improvements.

- Schedule production within the team to ensure on time delivery.

- Provide guidance on material preparation including the cutting and machining of raw materials.

- Fabrications and Welding of product according to specification & drawing(s) to a quality that ensures acceptance of radiographic weld examination and tolerance of +/-1.5 mm

- Overseas projects within assigned spars groups.

- Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.

- Coordinate with the quality department to address all quality and customer issues.

- Use plant reporting and accounting systems to ensure cost control, make capital recommendations and deliver cost reductions
