Digital Controls - PLC Programming Engineer (3-10 yrs)
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced PLC Programming Engineer to join our team. As a PLC Programming Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining programmable logic controller (PLC) systems for industrial automation applications.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Design, develop, and debug PLC programs using industry-standard programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram.
2. Configure and program human-machine interface (HMI) systems to provide operators with user-friendly control interfaces and real-time monitoring capabilities.
3. Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of PLC systems to ensure proper functionality, reliability, and adherence to project specifications.
4. Perform system integration tasks, including networking PLCs with other automation devices (e.g., sensors, actuators, variable frequency drives) and integrating with supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
5. Develop and maintain accurate documentation, including functional specifications, user manuals, and technical reports, to ensure effective communication and knowledge transfer.
6. Collaborate with maintenance technicians and production personnel to diagnose and resolve PLC-related issues in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity.
7. Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during all stages of PLC programming, installation, and maintenance activities.
8. Provide training and technical support to end-users, ensuring a smooth transition and successful implementation of PLC systems.
