JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Director

Supports protecting the Company Brand and is Guest focused. Achieves Organisation's business goals and objectives by providing strategic leadership and partnering with HQ, cross functional team partners and vendors/factories to satisfy multiple requirements. Communicates and achieves Company vision, mission, values and priorities. Develops and manages a team that supports Company quality requirements and business standards. Responsible for a focused and effective process to validate that vendor partners operate efficient, safe and ethical factory environments, producing safe and reliable quality products.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Team and Self Development:

- Directs the team's vision, building a strong team spirit and a Fast, Fun and Friendly environment.

- Creates an open and interactive supportive team environment that demonstrates passion for the brand and team's contributions to the overall success of the organization.

- Inspires others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance.

- Ensures oversight, sustainability and effectiveness of OnBoarding process so that team members are properly trained in both technical and leadership skills as necessary to be successful in their respective jobs.

- Actively involved in working with team leadership to assess and identify training and development opportunities for team.

- Coaches, motivates and develops direct reports as well as the team.

- Manages and reviews the performance of the team, assessing potential for growth, and identifying career path and succession planning.

- Leads knowledge and best practice sharing activities with cross functional team partners and within the team.

- Holds self and team accountable for achieving business goals and ensures others have the resources, information, authority and support needed to achieve these.

- Demonstrates the ability to achieve objectives through their teams.

- Celebrates team and organizational success.

- Supports supervisor on strategic objectives

Business Management:

- Establishes and provides strategic direction to team for achieving individual or team goals, and balances time and resources to achieve these.

- Promotes and ensures globally standardized and consistent processes to facilitate efficient and effective best methods.

- Validate team are addressing and resolving problems by utilizing the appropriate tools and resources and partnering with the appropriate parties to ensure products meet company's objectives as well as regulatory and safety standards.

- Oversees productivity and overall effectiveness of team resources to ensure adequate staffing and provision of efficient execution of directives, programs and fulfillment of business/market needs.

- Utilizes available tools and reports, and monitors daily operations to ensure team members-adherence to integrity and protecting the company Brand.

- Supports compliance and C-TPAT with all social and governmental requirements within factories.

- Ensures team's are focused on a "Best for Guest" culture.

- Identifies and communicates opportunities to improve processes.

Vendor/Factory Management:

- Promote leadership defined strategies to hold all parties accountable for operational excellence and consistency in accordance with organisation and International Safety & Regulatory requirements.

- Proactively collaborates with cross functional teams to monitor and validate all quality assurance requirements are communicated and comprehended.

- Evaluate and ensure team's assessment of vendors/ factories for overall performance, to ensure sustainability in quality execution, capacities and that capabilities are in line with the most current International Safety and Regulatory requirements.

- Sustain On Boarding of new vendor/factories in partnership with cross functional teams, ensuring consistent compliance to company requirements.

- Ensures team are validating vendor/factories are working toward continuous improvement and utilizing tools to identify defect trends, applying root cause, application of root cause and preventative action planning in a proactive manner to ensure measurable improvement.

Financial:

- Plans, monitors and develops budgets for all areas of responsibility.

- Defines and supports efficiencies in line with business shifts and strategic goals, aligning this with country strategies.

- Ensures expense planning and management of resources for optimum productivity and added value

- Ensures accountability of expense and proper authorization pre and post travel.

- Utilizes tools to ensure awareness of company performance and shares this with the teams.

- Reviews and applies analytical application to make informed decisions.

Communication:

- Anticipates and meets the need for information of key stakeholders. Synthesizes complex information and communicates the right amount of detail.

- Acts as a liaison between PSQA HQ, Vendor/Factory partners and cross functional team partners.

- Ensures transparency and support of team through escalation process when required for speedy resolution.

- Communicates information and facilitates the open exchange of viewpoints.

- Actively shares knowledge with HQ PSQA team and cross functional team partners on country specific regulations related to products and factories.

Brand management

- Ensures compliance of all company standards.

- Ensures the work environment is Fast, Fun and Friendly.

- Behaves everyday with integrity and trust.

- Promotes TSS focus areas and company's Vision, Mission and Values

MINIMAL REQUIREMENTS:

- 4 year University Degree, preferably scientific / engineering discipline

- 10+ years related working experience

- Minimum 5 years in leadership capacity with similar operational scope and complexity. Experience with a US or European based corporation

- Excellent leadership/interpersonal skills

- Ability to communicate to all levels of management internally and to Sr. Management of vendor partners with diverse cultural backgrounds

- Ability to manage project plans and resources Excellent written and spoken English language skills Strategic thinking and ability to plan; organize and execute Ability to analyze information to drive business decisions SC

- Result orientated, self motivated, dedicated, enthusiastic and energetic

- Committed to continuous learning

- Ability to travel locally and internationally

- Ability to use Microsoft applications

DESIREABLE REQUIREMENTS:

- 8 to 10 years production; quality assurance

- In depth knowledge of International regulatory and Safety requirements

- Experience with quality assurance systems

- Eligible to work in designated country without sponsorship

- Experience working with culturally diverse team members
