- We are seeking a seasoned Director of QA & QC with extensive experience in managing quality systems in high-reliability industries such as Aerospace, or defence.

- This role is critical in ensuring that the Company's products, systems, and processes meet stringent industry certifications and customer expectations for performance, reliability, and safety.

- The Director will lead the entire quality organization and work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate quality assurance throughout the Product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, develop, and implement the overall QA & QC strategy to ensure the highest standards of quality in the design, manufacturing, and testing of space systems, satellites, and aerospace components.

- Ensure strict adherence to international standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, ECSS) and industry-specific regulations, including government certifications and customer-specific requirements.

- Manage the development and execution of quality systems and metrics, including KPIs, to monitor, control, and improve product and process quality across all departments.

- Ensure quality assurance protocols are embedded at every stage of Product development from concept design through production and testing to final deployment.

- Drive continuous improvement efforts using root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and other improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).

- Oversee the supplier quality management program, conducting audits and assessments to ensure suppliers meet the company's rigorous quality standards.

- Supervise testing and inspection activities, ensuring adherence to strict industry protocols like vibration, thermal vacuum, and environmental testing for space and aerospace Products.

- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring the company maintains its quality certifications and meets customer requirements for mission-critical systems.

- Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Program Management teams to ensure that quality standards are integrated into the entire development process.

- Mentor and develop a high-performing QA & QC team, providing leadership and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Utilize statistical analysis and reporting to inform decision-making processes, highlighting areas for quality improvement and operational efficiency.

Candidate Skills & Requirements :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

- 12+ years of QA/QC experience, with at least 7 years in a Leadership role within Aerospace, Space, Defense or high-reliability Industries.

- Proven experience in managing quality systems for mission-critical, high-reliability engineering Products, ideally within Space or Aerospace domains.

- Strong Leadership and Management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-pressure, technically challenging environments.

- Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.

- Exceptional knowledge of Space/Aerospace Testing methods and compliance requirements.

- Superior communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
