Role & Responsibilities:

- Oversee the warehouse activities such as receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations, order booking, billing, accounting, replacement, documentation and logistics. Ensure annual/periodical safety audit and compliance requirement as per company policies.

- Provide instructions/assist to warehouse personnel in terms of work processes and programs.

- To coordinate opening and closing the warehouse on time and conduct tool box meeting with all employees daily.

- Allocate duties for employees and ensure that the discussion points are noted and acknowledge the same and appreciate/welcome suggestions on a proactive basis from team members.

- Verify and ensure that all employees adhere to the personal grooming and hygiene standards.

- Planning, organizing and controlling of warehouse comprehensive operations.

- Develop, delegate, implement and follow through product movement and storage strategies within the warehouse.

- Educate the team on company policies, mission, vision, goals, objectives and standard operating procedures to make sure that each workers/staff is informed and working properly.

- Responsible for setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization of warehouse.

- Analyze workflow and handle space requirement.

- Act as SPOC (Single Point Of Contact) escalation for warehouse related issues among the team and the management.

- Ownership and empower warehouse personnel with information on best safety practices and sharing best practices in work place.

- Responsible to collate the daily reports from the warehouse staffs, analyze and formulate reports for internal and management meetings.

- Responsible for stock accuracy of the warehouse stock- Daily PIC, Monthly and Annual full stock counting.

- Responsible for stock reconciliation if there are any shortfalls or deficiency in the same.

- Responsible for building effective plans to provide training to employees for working efficiently and smartly.

- Responsible for developing cost reducing strategies for the entire activities of the warehouse on a continuous basis to achieve profit and perfection.

- Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met.

- Monitor and assist loading and unloading of items/product.

- Responsible for ensuring that all the products are assigned to corresponding storage areas with the use of proper equipment and stacking and storing the merchandise.

- Responsible to keep track of daily work in the warehouse with regard to the billing status.

- Responsible for cash counter key and update the expenses in petty cash register after verification of the vouchers and scrutinize, reconciliation of accounts.

- Responsible for maintaining all documents related to warehouse along with financial records, statutory/legal licenses simultaneously also responsible for keeping records of daily transaction of warehouse.

- Responsible to ensure that goods stored in the warehouse are not damaged.

- Prepare an annual budget, plan out expenses, analyze any variances and make necessary corrections to help the company achieve financial objectives.

- Ensure all customer concerns are handled timely and accurately.

- Make sure that the entire warehouse is always kept clean and sanitized.

- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures.

The required qualification:-

- Any Graduate / Post Graduate with ample experience in similar filed and having held the manager capacity in previous and recent organisations.
