EHS Executive - Safety Management (5-10 yrs)

Job purpose :

- Ensures Non hazardous Environment, Good Health and complete Safety in the Plant premises. 


- Works in direction of maintaining employees and company's hygiene, safety and security and ensures hazard free environment is maintained during and after the Plant operations.

Experience : 6 to 10 years

Education : Any Graduate and Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety (Must)

CTC : 3 Lakhs PA to 5 Lakhs PA

The position will report to GM-Operations and Food processing and will handle a team of 10 to 12 employees in Hygiene and Pest Control

Duties and responsibilities :

Safety :

- Keeping a daily track on unsafe observation like unsafe acts & unsafe conditions by taking plant round.

- Follow up for closing the unsafe observations with respective departments.

- Work permit management

- Accident/Incident investigation and reporting

- Fire fighting trainings and Mock Drills

- Monitoring the Fire Extinguishers & fire buckets servicing and refilling and Emergency alarms status.

- Safety Audits and corrective actions follow up

- First aid management and training.

- Emergency action plan and its trainings.

- Health & safety Risk Assessments

- Ensure the use of proper PPE'S by employees for each level of hazards. (E.g. Chemical handlings)

- Labor shed weekly Audit

- Monthly Audits -Tools, lifting, hydraulic Equipment

PPE :

- Ensure availability of the PPE and it's usage by employees as per the requirement of the job profile.

- Laundry Management

- Developing new suppliers/vendors for PPE keeping the cost under control and not sacrificing the quality.

- Hygiene and Pest Control

- Monitoring all hygiene activities during plant round such as proper cleaning, manpower management, for the plant and premises hygiene activities as per hygiene schedule.

- Monitoring the pest control activities checking and their findings and root causes follow up with hygiene supervisors and PCI.

- Monthly trend analysis report for internal pest activities and PCI.

- Ensure personal hygiene of the employees/workers on the shop floor.

- Ensuring the PPM concentration in the Foot Dip is maintained by the Hygiene supervisors.

- Tracking and marinating all the documents related to Hygiene, pest control and PPE.

- Conducting Hygiene Audits and corrective actions follow up.

- Coordinate with PCI for extra servicing and material.

- Ordering Monthly Hygiene material required and tracking the optimum usage of the same.

OTHER :

- Issue of lockers to all the employees that require the same and checking of lockers once in a month for cleaning and safety purpose.

- Making of the new Display Boards required and maintaining the existing ones.
