Location : Plant in Uttar Pradesh

About Client:

Our client is the one of largest industrial paint and decorative paint conglomerate. It is engaged in the industrial, automotive and powder coating business. It develops and supplies paint systems used on the finishing lines of electrical components, cycle, and material handling equipment, bus bodies, containers and furniture industries.

Role Summary:

The person should be responsible for entire operation for Environment Health & Safety for Plant.

Job Responsibility:

- Daily round in the plant to Process Areas and check Safety Management System, maintain daily round register & keep records.

- Ensure adherence to the Work Permit System, especially the hot jobs, electrical work permits, lock out, tag outs in the plant & help process staff in maintaining safety of the plant.

- Provide training to plant staff & contractors on Safety related topics at a regular frequency. Conduct minimum two training sessions in a month & keep training records

- Conduct safety inspection, earthing inspection, Hazard identification & Risk assessment, Job Safety Analysis etc.

- Act as the management representative for applicable OHSAS & EHS systems certifications. Maintain Health & Safety system in line with requirements of OHSAS 18001. Continue certification. Apply for safety award & obtain recognition.

- Investigate each accident, fire, near accident & ensure compliance to recommendations.

- Prepare safety budget and monitor its execution/control of expenses.

- To provide necessary cross-functional support for various improvement initiatives undertaken by the plant.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Must be having BSC (Chemistry) or Diploma/Degree in Chemical Engineering, . Diploma/ Degree in Environment Management can be added qualification

- Must have Diploma / Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety

- Having 10-15 yrs of experience into EHS role.

- Candidates from Chemical & Paint industries are preferred.

- Candidates from Uttar Pradesh are preferred.

Salary: INR 10,00,000 - 15,00,000 P.A.
