Electrical Billing Engineer (Residential Projects) - Job Description
- Position:- Electrical Billing Engineer
- Experience Required:- 5 to 9 Years
- Sector:- Residential Construction Projects
- Key Responsibilities :
1. Prepare, verify, and certify electrical bills for residential project sites.
2. Take precise site measurements and convert them into BOQ/Billing formats.
3. Work with Electrical Drawings, SLDs, layouts, and load calculations.
4. Coordinate with site execution teams, contractors, and clients' billing departments.
5. Prepare RA bills, final bills, reconciliation statements, and variation statements.
6. Maintain updated records of material consumption, stock, and wastage.
7. Check and verify contractor bills as per site execution and approved BOQ.
8. Assist in tender documentation, rate analysis, and cost estimation when required.
9. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and electrical standards.
10. Report progress to Project Manager and maintain billing documentation.
- Skills Required:-
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems used in residential construction
- Expertise in BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and billing procedures
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and site measurement tools
- Understanding of IS standards, electrical materials, and installations
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Education :
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
