Electrical Design Engineer - EPC Contracting Firm (3-5 yrs)
Job Title : Electrical Design Engineer
Experience : 3 to 5 years in a design office of repute in a consulting or an EPC contracting firm, in the design of electrical systems for large industrial/power/substation/transmission line projects.
Work Location : Bangalore
Work Mode : Work from office
Job Description :
- Handle approximately 6 to 8 projects simultaneously with a team size of 5, ensuring that all deliverables are met within strict schedules.
- Guide and supervise team members to ensure project goals and deadlines are achieved.
- Conduct basic studies for the selection of equipment parameters with option analysis.
- Participate in procurement activities such as preparing specifications, bid analysis, purchase recommendations, vendor drawing review/approval, and cost estimation.
- Prepare construction drawings including single line diagrams, general arrangement layouts, lighting layouts, cable layouts, earthing and lightning protection layouts, power and control schematics, interlock schemes, cable schedules, and ICS.
- Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Possess good communication, interpersonal, team building, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office is essential.
- BOQ preprations and Drawing mark-ups.
- Desirable Skill AutoCAD, MS Projects, Excel, ETAP, Dialux, and Pvsyst.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the design of electrical systems for large industrial/power/substation/ transmission line projects.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems and equipment.
- Proven project management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
