Electrical Design Engineer - PLM Systems (6-9 yrs)
Job Description :
- Exhibits Epiroc core values, integrity and open global culture
- Preparation of 2D drawings and 3D models
- Performing BOM changes and ECNs
- Works on Engineering Project / tasks providing support to New Product Development programs and Product Maintenance
- Understand the requirement and plan the work accordingly, ensuring on time delivery with maximum quality and optimized efficiency
- Maintain effective and timely communication with customers and stakeholders
- Adhere to existing internal processes and initiate value added processes and procedures
- Stay sharp towards acquiring new and maintaining existing competencies
- Bring in synergy to the team by sharing and learning
- Co-ordinate with division engineers for the projects & work independently
- Wiring harness & Electric schematics design and components selection for Blast hole Drilling and Water Well drilling rigs.
- Selection & integration of aggregates onto vehicle/machine
- Working knowledge on Creo, pro Cabling and Auto CAD electrical to create drawings.
- Work on PDM/PLM systems associated with engineering release processes & systems
- Ensure execution of tasks in strict compliance with operating procedures and delivery of defect free output on-time
- Follow the internal project management and time management requirements
- Represent CMTEC in customer\design reviews
- Maintain Project documents as per ISO procedures
- Knowledge on electricity Rules and other safety followed in the Electrical system.
- Knowledge on High Voltage system will be added advantage.
- Reporting to the Manager\Project Leader in a timely and efficient manner
- Complying to company policies and follow company values and business code of practice
Desired Knowledge/Experience :
- In depth knowledge on Vehicle electrical/Aggregates selection
- Experience from either of the following areas would be considered a merit:
- Safety of electrical systems
- Knowledge in Road 24 V D.C Controls used in Mining or construction machinery
- System simulations
- High Voltage systems, VFD and soft Starter
- Preparation & release of BOM and Engineering change management
- Sub-project management.
