Electrical Design Engineer - Thermal Power Plant Projects (3-6 yrs)
Job location : Chennai, Bangalore, Cochin, Hyderabad
BE, B.Tech.(Electrical) | ME, M.Tech (Electrical) with 3 to 6 years
Experience as follows :
Job Role and Responsibilities:
- Design Calculations, Preparation of Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Hazardous area Classification, Electrical Layouts for Lighting / Power / Earthing etc, Procurement activities like Preparation of Enquiry, Technical Bid Evaluations, Vendor Drawings Review etc,
- Hands on experience in design & engineering of thermal power plant projects and renewable projects.
- Exposure to 3D tool like Solid works 3D / SP3D / AutoCAD / Solidworkes / Revit / PDMS.
- Should be well conversant with preparation and review of electrical design & drawing documents
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards is must
- Experience in Detailed engg. for Cable routing, Substation layouts, Earthing, Lightning, Lighting etc.
- Experience in drafting of the engg. deliverables like P&I Diagrams, Cable schematics,
- Electrical Panel wiring diagrams/GA drgs, Instrument hook up diagrams.
- Experience in preparation of Bill of Quantities for Cables, Tray/Ladders/ Support System/ lugs/glands/Earthing material / Lighting and Erection material etc.
