Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate should have expertise in E3D and AutoCAD, with a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for Oil & Gas projects using E3D and AutoCAD.
- Perform electrical load calculations, power distribution design, and cable routing.
- Create and review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and schematics.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including piping, instrumentation, and mechanical engineers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Conduct site visits for inspections, troubleshooting, and ensuring design feasibility.
- Support project planning, estimation, and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-9 years of experience in electrical design within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in E3D and AutoCAD for electrical design and drafting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in offshore/onshore projects in Oil & Gas.
- Familiarity with other design tools like ETAP or SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL).
