Electrical Engineer - Substations (0-3 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Provides electrical engineering designs related to transmission systems, specifies electrical equipment and produces drawings for the construction of substations and switching stations.
- Designs and prepares drawings, reports, forms and configurations for revenue metering installations at AECC and member cooperative facilities.
- Designs, configures, and supports control and monitoring systems in substations; develops and configures associated operator screens/interfaces; updates and maintains transmission system model.
- Designs and supports protective relaying systems for substations and transmission lines.
- Keeps abreast of related current scientific and engineering developments and governmental regulations.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications :
- 5 years of related experience
- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of electric power systems
- Knowledge of protective relaying schemes & equipment
- Knowledge of industry protocols
- Proficient in database development/management
- Knowledge of power plant processes
- Knowledge of automation controllers and ladder logic
- Knowledge of AutoCAD software
