Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer (10-15 yrs)
The assigned expert will provide the following services:
- Review and Analysis of Project Contract: Thoroughly review the project contract, particularly the E&I scope of supply, and translate this into comprehensive design specifications.
- Preparation of Engineering Deliverables: Prepare various engineering deliverables as per the project document list, ensuring alignment with project deadlines and timelines.
- Technical Coordination and Vendor Interaction: Participate in technical meetings with customers and vendors, issue inquiries, review technical offers, and evaluate vendor submissions.
- Project Coordination and Reporting: Act as a liaison between project engineers, project management, and the client, providing regular updates on engineering, procurement, vendor inquiries, offer evaluations, and any technical or commercial issues.
- Degree in an Electrical / Instrumentation discipline with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD for electrical design.
- Knowledge about codes that pertain to hazardous locations, motors, cables, instruments.
- Experience in industrial electrical design
- Background in design and manufacturing panels/ JB in the oil and gas, pharma, industrial and any allied industry.
- Experience with analogue, digital, and electro-mechanical circuits, and components, which may include voltage and current regulators, relays, motors, switches, solenoids etc.
- Candidate must be self-motivated, organized, and a problem solver who works well within a team.
- Previous experience in electrical design with CAD tools for industrial projects is appreciated.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken
