- We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our team.
- As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment.
- You will work closely with our engineering and maintenance teams to ensure the smooth operation of our electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Responsibilities :
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including wiring, transformers, generators, and control panels.
- Perform routine inspections to identify electrical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective repairs.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to design and implement electrical systems.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations.
- Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory.
- Provide guidance and support to junior technicians as needed.
- Stay up to date with advancements in electrical technology and industry best practices.
2. Safety and Compliance :
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with high-voltage electrical systems.
- Follow proper procedures for lockout, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and safe equipment handling.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, electrical codes, and environmental regulations during installations and repairs.
Qualifications and Skills :
- High school, diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or associate degree (ITI) in Electrical Technology or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
