Electrical Testing Engineer - Switchyard/Substation (3-10 yrs)
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Conduct testing and commissioning of high voltage substations including simple protection relays, transformers, switchgear, and other equipment.
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of substation equipment and systems.
- Ensure that all testing and commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with
- Prepare testing reports and documentation and provide recommendations for corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure that all testing and commissioning activities are completed on time and within budget.
- Must have experience up to 220kv -400kv substation
- Testing and commission of all electrical transformers equipment's like Relay, Transformers, Circuit Breaker, Isolator, Bus Coupler, HT, Panel, LT Panel etc
- To perform ACB, Transformer, CT, PT, Protective Relay, VCB, VCU, LA testing, Earth Pit testing & Motor testing.
- To understand control circuit drawing and site abnormality rectification.
- Transformer Testing of all capacity
- Switchgear Testing (Indoor/Outdoor), Breaker, Bus bar, Isolator etc.
- Current Transformer/Potential Transformer test of HT/LT
- Knowledge in Breaker Timing, Primary Injection testing
