Quality Management System ( IATF )

- The Engineering Head is responsible for leading and managing all engineering functions within the organization, ensuring efficient and effective support to production, driving continuous improvement, and overseeing engineering projects. This role requires a strong background in precision component machining, tool room operations, and design of jigs and fixtures, coupled with excellent leadership skills.

- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the engineering team.

- Develop and implement engineering policies, procedures, and standards.

- Mentor, coach, and develop team to maximize their potential.

- Foster a culture of innovation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement within the engineering department.

- Oversee all operations of the tool room, including tool design, fabrication, maintenance, and repair.

- Ensure the availability of high-quality tooling to support production requirements.

- Optimize tool life and minimize tooling costs.

- Implement and maintain tool management systems.

- Lead the design and development of jigs, fixtures, and other tooling required for efficient and accurate machining processes.

- Ensure designs meet production requirements for quality, accuracy, and throughput.

- Oversee the fabrication and testing of jigs and fixtures.

- Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance product quality.

- Select and implement appropriate machining tools and technologies.

- Troubleshoot machining problems and implement corrective actions.

- Oversee the use of CAD/CAM software for design, modeling and programming of CNC machines.

- Ensure efficient and accurate translation of designs into manufacturing processes.

- Ensure the production of precision components that meet specified quality standards and tolerances.

- Develop and implement quality control procedures for machining operations.

- Analyze and resolve quality issues related to machining.
