Key Responsibilities :

- Translate customer requirements, drawings, and specifications into accurate cost estimates to ensure competitive pricing.

- Prepare detailed drawings such as shop drawings and As-Built drawings for ELV systems including Security Control, Audio/Video, CCTV, Public Address, Background Music, and Structural Cabling.

- Record assumptions, exclusions, and specification deviations to be included in proposals.

- Review project scopes and create professional technical and commercial proposals that align with economic and technical considerations.

- Research and identify new vendors/principles in the ELV industry to enhance proposal offerings.

- Assist the sales team in comprehending and evaluating customer requirements effectively.

- Select the appropriate combination of hardware, software, equipment, materials, and services to provide optimal value to customers and meet business goals.

- Provide support to Project Managers in calculating costs and sell prices for project Change Orders.

- Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality proposal standards.

- Display a willingness to learn about new subjects and contribute to team tasks as needed.

- Develop design solutions for Sales estimates, incorporating value engineering principles and ensuring design robustness for accurate estimating.

- Utilize the latest standard library of designs to minimize delivery costs.

- Prepare material submittals and collaborate with clients and consultants to obtain necessary approvals.

- Document and communicate assumptions, exclusions, and specification deviations for transparency in proposals.

Qualifications :

- Strong understanding of ELV systems and their components.

- Proficiency in preparing technical drawings using relevant software.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and consultants.

- Ability to analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.

- Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new subjects.

- Familiarity with ELV industry vendors and trends is a plus.

- Experience in cost estimation, proposal creation, and material submittals is preferred.
