Job Responsibilities :
- Field failure Analysis -Investigate high-warranty-return EPS units, focusing on identifying root causes behind failures.
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing teams, quality, diagnostics, and electrical architecture teams to -ensure resolution of EPS-related issues and alignment on design updates.
- Analyze field data, warranty claims, diagnostic trouble codes, and service reports to perform statistical and trend analysis to support issue resolution and drive product improvements.
- Maintain detailed documentation of issue resolution processes, validation results, and release activities. Present findings to leadership and global teams during issue triage reviews.
- Support dealership technicians in diagnosing and resolving complex EPS-related issues.
Educational Qualifications :
Required:
B.E., /B.Tech., in Mechanical Engineering/Automobile Engineering with 1 - 3 years of experience.
Experience Required :
- Experience in Passenger/Pick-up segment sub- systems like Hydraulic (HPAS) & Electrical Power steering (EPAS).
- Sound knowledge about Steering Design calculations, CAE Load case and result evaluation.
- Work experience in Passenger Cars, Pick-up truck category.
- Hands on experience in Team-center working environment.
- Good knowledge on Sheetmetal and Casting material grades, manufacturing processes and different material grades used for automotive applications.
- Knowledge in BOM,GD&T, DFMEA, DVVP & DFA
- Customer interaction, dealership technician training & supplier management.
Skill Set
Required:
- Team center(Primary Software Skill)
- Knowledge of UG-NX
- MS Office tools (Excel, Power-point)
- Strong communication & Interpersonal skills
