Position : Electrical Design Engineer - Oil & Gas
Location : Chennai
Job Overview :
- As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our oil and gas projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems in a high-risk environment. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, adhering to industry standards, and driving innovation in electrical design.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- Proven experience in electrical design within the Oil and gas industry.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools (AutoCAD, ETAP, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards (NEC, API, IEEE, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Safety-focused mindset.
