Electronics Component Engineer

- Manage and maintain the company electronic component database, support associated workflow processes, compare & generate reports on a periodic basis.

- Alert Management for Electronics component lifecycle

- Collecting RoHS, Reach and Conflict Mineral compliance CMRT/Declaration reports from websites and makers/suppliers.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Participated in full lifecycle product development of products utilizing electronic components.

- Good knowledge on components like Active, Passive and I/O Electro Mechanical.

- Participated in Vendor selection efforts for product components.

- Participated in Part selection efforts for product components.

- Familiarity with attributes of various electronic components

- Thorough knowledge on components specifications, dimensions and their impacts - BoM valuation and scrubbing process.

- MPN Validation and description framing

- Interacting with Makers/Suppliers (Worldwide) through email & telephone to receive technical info/RoHS/REACh/Quotes/RFQ's.

- Assigning Life-Cycle status, Technical specifications, Envi-Compliance and other details based on the part and makers.

- Exemplary understanding of datasheets, specifications, 2D and 3D drawings & compliance certificates/policies.

- Strong knowledge in alternate suggestions for NRND/EOL (End of life)/ Obsolete Part number with FFF requirements.

- Assist with various other duties as assigned like BOM preparation/comparisons, Data cleaning, management and data entry on our internal ERP's.

Requirements :

- Familiarity with application of various testing methods of electronic parts.

- OMS (Obsolescence Management System) Tool's knowledge

- Exposure with ECAD part library management

- Finding alternate components in case of shortage or design change or for cost saving

- Finding multiple sources for Electronics components

- Knowledge of Electronic components marketplace

- Part rationalization

- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills & self-driven

Good to Have :

- Experience in automotive/power/BMS is preferred

- Experience with BMS is preferred

- Knowledge of Eagle

- Awareness of working with PLM tool

- Awareness thermal management, enclosure designs.

- Experience in building MIL grade certified products

- Desired Qualification; Diploma/Bachelor Engineering in Electronics & Communication
