Engineer - Electronics/Embedded Hardware (5-19 yrs)
As an Electronics Engineer, you will provide quality electronics solutions to products. You can work in all stages of a product, from design and layout to prototyping and verification. Manufacturing support is also a part of the process.
Common specialized competencies :
- ASIC design
- ASIC verification
- RF design, ireless solutions
- You will in most cases work in a smaller team together with mechanical and/or embedded SW engineers or in a specialized CAD layout team with other electronics engineers.
Skills and tools :
- ECAD tools: Altium is the most common tool used by customers but any experience of more advanced ECAD is valid. If you are skilled in one tool it's easy to learn a new one.
- PDM/PLM (as a user): Any experience in a more advanced PLM system is valid.
Electronics Engineering :
- 5+ years of work experience
- Design. Understand the requirements, decide upon components and create the schematics
- Layout on PCB
- Manufacturing Engineering, understanding of the manufacturing process. How to design the solution so it can be manufactured for a reasonable cost
- Verification
- ASIC
- FPGA
- Embedded SW to develop test code for verification
- Embedded SW for production
Travel :
- As part of project teams, willing to travel up to 20-30%.
- As a consultancy role, willing to travel 20-50%
Academic Qualification :
- Engineering Degree / Engineering PG in Computer Science from an Institution of high repute in India or abroad. high performer in academics
