Engineer - Fasteners Industry (3-7 yrs)

Qualification: B.Sc/ M.Sc/ Diploma/B.Tech - Mechanical/Metallurgy /Chemical/ Production
Experience: 3- 5 Years Experience in Fasteners Industry
Job Summary: We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with 3- 5 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably in the fasteners industry. The candidate will be responsible for stage-wise inspection, quality control processes, and ensuring adherence to customer specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding product drawings and technical specifications.
- Conducting stage-wise inspections during production.
- Handling measuring instruments and ensuring accuracy.
- Managing calibration of instruments and maintaining calibration records.
- Preparing and maintaining quality documentation and records.
- Implementing and monitoring control plans.
- Applying basic quality tools for root cause analysis and improvement.
- Identifying defects and ensuring corrective actions.
- Managing 4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method) change management.
- Coordinating with production and other departments for quality compliance.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of product and drawing interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of calibration processes.
- Understanding of control plans and inspection standards.
- Familiarity with basic quality tools (7 QC Tools).
- Strong defect analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Good documentation and record-keeping ability.
