Engineer Intern (0-1 yrs)
Job Title: Electronics Intern
Location: Noida
Duration: 6 Months Internship (with possibility of PPO based on performance)
Division: Research and Development
Reporting To: Electronics Design Engineer
Stipend: Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 18,000/- per month (based on performance in interview)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated Electronics Intern to join our team. This role provides hands-on experience in electronic design and development, allowing you to work on live projects alongside seasoned engineers. The ideal candidate will possess a keen interest in circuit design, hardware testing, and embedded systems, along with a solid understanding of electronics fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of electronic circuits and embedded systems
- Collaborate with the Engineering Team to develop and refine schematics, PCB layouts, and technical - documentation
- Support component selection, datasheet review, and preparation of BOMs for prototypes and production
- Perform calculations and basic simulations to ensure the reliability and performance of designs (power, noise, thermal, etc.)
- Participate in prototyping and board bring-up, including soldering/rework, debugging, and data collection using lab instruments
- Assist in developing and executing test plans, recording results, and recommending design improvements
- Work closely with firmware and mechanical teams to integrate electronics into products and resolve design issues
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and proposals, including preliminary research on required and current technologies
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering / Robotics Engineering / Embedded Systems (recently completed or close to completion)
- Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics, including basic circuit analysis and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with microcontrollers and common communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN) is a plus point
- Proficiency with EDA tools for schematic capture and PCB layout (prefer Altium / KiCad / Eagle)
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as a multimeter, oscilloscope, function generator, and logic analyser
- Understanding of PCB manufacturing/assembly practices; soldering and rework skills are a plus point
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies
- Candidates who have knowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System) will be preferred.
