Engineer/Lead - CAE/FEA Analysis (3-10 yrs)

Bangalore Job Code: 15184

- To perform non-linear/Dynamic structural FEA analysis of engine components to assess and /or modify structural design of these components to meet the design requirementse

- Retrieve and modify Uni graphics model of engine components, generate tetrahedral, hexahedral FE mesh to define structural domain

- Identify and confirm model set-up and boundary conditions, execute analysis and post-processing of FEA results

- Provide design recommendation to design


- Responsible engineer based on the interpretation of analysis results

- Participate in product design and development teams and regularly present analysis results to engineering peers and management

- Document analysis objectives, conclusions, results, and assumptions using a standard report template

- Generate technical solutions for complex design problems in current, new and major programs

- Develop engineering designs (including subsystems)

Required Skills :

- Proficient in preprocessors like Hypermesh, Simlab

- Proficient in Solver like Optistruct, Nastran, Abaqus

- Knowledge of Fatigue software & python scripting language will be added advantage

- Good experience in conducting non-linear/Dynamic structural analysis

- Basic knowledge of engine components

- Strong written and oral communication skills
